Childcare

Built for the way childcare centers actually operate

Licensing, budget, and one playground serving every age group. We install to clear inspection the first time, on your operating schedule.

Licensing and safety, handled up front

Standards we build to

  • ASTM F1487 — play equipment
  • ASTM F1292 — surfacing impact
  • CPSC Public Playground Safety Handbook
  • ADA accessibility guidelines
  • State childcare licensing requirements (GA, SC, TN, FL, NC)

How a childcare install works

  1. 01

    Site Walk + Licensing Review

We visit your site, review your licensing requirements, and confirm what your state inspector will want to see.

  2. 02

    Age-Group & Layout Design

Equipment selection and site layout sized to your enrollment, age mix, and outdoor square footage.

  3. 03

    Installation On Your Schedule

Weekend, break-week, and phased installs available. We plan around your operating hours so you don't close.

  4. 04

    CPSI Inspection + Handoff

Final safety inspection, punch list, and a documentation packet for your licensing records.

Childcare playground questions

Can you work around our operating hours?

Yes. Most childcare installs happen on weekends or during scheduled break weeks. Phased installs are also an option if you need to keep part of the play area open.

Do you handle state licensing paperwork?

We provide the CPSI inspection report, equipment specs, and surfacing documentation your licensing inspector will ask for. The paperwork submission itself stays with your director.

What surfacing do you recommend for toddlers?

For 6–23 month and 2–5 age groups, we typically recommend poured-in-place rubber. It offers consistent fall attenuation, is easier to keep clean, and meets accessibility requirements without ongoing maintenance.

How do you separate age groups on a small site?

Layout, surfacing transitions, and light fencing. On tight sites we often use a single continuous surface with clearly defined age zones and separate equipment clusters.

Do you install fencing and gates?

Yes. Perimeter fencing, gates, and park amenities are installed alongside the playground so your outdoor space opens complete.

What's the typical budget range?

Childcare playgrounds vary widely by enrollment size, age mix, and surfacing choice. We provide detailed itemized quotes after a site walk — no rough numbers over the phone.
