We use skid steers on about 95% of our projects. These machines need at least a 6-foot-wide entry point to the site. Keep in mind they're heavy — any concrete surfaces or landscaping in their path could be affected, so we'll plan that route carefully together.

For taller or heavier lifts (like shade frames or large feature pieces), we may need a telehandler or crane truck. Every site is different, and we'll talk through what makes sense for yours before we get started.

Landscaping restoration isn't included in our standard scope unless it's specifically spelled out in your contract. That said, we don't just leave things a mess — we'll grade out any areas our equipment used, fill in ruts, and lay down local grass seed and straw to get things started.

Some wear and tear from heavy equipment is a normal part of any construction project. If you'd like us to go beyond the basics — sod, plants, or other restoration — just let us know and we're happy to coordinate that!

We take site safety seriously. We'll put up orange fencing and caution tape to keep the area marked, but we want to be transparent — that's not always enough to prevent curious visitors, and theft or vandalism can occasionally happen on open job sites. We keep things tidy and organized, but we aren't able to take financial responsibility for those situations if they occur.

Our strong recommendation: temporary chain-link construction fencing. It makes a big difference for keeping the site secure.

This is especially important if you're getting poured-in-place rubber surfacing installed. That rubber is incredibly vulnerable in the first 24 hours — a single person (or even a dog!) walking through it while it's wet can cause thousands of dollars in damage. We've seen it happen. Here's how the process works: once your equipment is finished at the manufacturing facility, they'll notify us. Lead times vary by project, so we'll keep you updated.

We coordinate delivery to land exactly when our crew is on-site and ready to receive it — no sitting in a parking lot for days. The equipment arrives in large, heavy crates and pallets (we're talking several thousand pounds) that need to be offloaded with heavy machinery. We handle all of the logistics so you don't have to.

We keep you in the loop — as much or as little as you want! At minimum, you'll get weekly progress updates from our team, including where we are and what's coming next. If anything comes up that could affect the timeline, you'll hear from us immediately.

We do everything we can to plan ahead, but sometimes the unexpected happens. A few things that can affect timelines:

• Part defects: Occasionally a piece arrives damaged or needs to be remanufactured. Our manufacturers are great about turning those around quickly, and we'll do our best to keep working on other parts of the project while we wait.

• On-site surprises: Unknown buried utilities, unexpected grades or slopes, limited access points, or equipment that doesn't quite fit where it was planned — these kinds of things can slow progress down.

The more detail you can share with us upfront about your site, the better we can prepare. We'd always rather over-communicate early than scramble later. Your smooth installation is the goal — and it's ours too.
